List of Activities

I spent my preschool through 3rd grade years at Pasadena Christian School (PCS). After 3rd grade, I realized that I wanted to have a stronger education so I applied for and transferred to Westridge School for Girls. I stayed at Westridge School for 4th grade through 6th grade until my family had to move cities. We moved to a place closer to my brother’s school, Buckley, which gave me the opportunity to apply to Harvard-Westlake School. I am currently a 7th grader at Harvard-Westlake now.

During November 2017, I started my first volunteer events at the Los Angeles Covenant House. Covenant House is a non-profit organization devoted to helping the homeless and trafficked youth. For over 40 years, they have taken in and cared for multiple young people by providing them a place to stay and food to eat, along with a complete high school and college education. Covenant House is now a human rights movement in 31 cities across 6 countries. Since then, I have volunteered at fundraisers and events devoted to this cause and will continue to do so.

I have learned cello and piano since I was in 3rd grade. I participated in countless recitals and competitions along with being in the LA Youth Orchestra. Art is another one of my extracurriculars where I also enter in competitions like the LA Times or Toyota Dream Car Competition. I also am in a Robotics team where I have participated in competitions such as VEX Robotics.

During my summer of 2017, I went to ID Tech Camp in Caltech where I learned basic coding and how to create my own website and design it. I also learned how to code in Python and Javascript. During my other summers, I visit Japan and Korea to learn the language and visit my family members.
